Good day...
For it being a monday, it was surprisingly good day...

I broke 2000 on the SAT, and got Student Life editor for yearbook.

Work sucked though, I REALLY want to quit. I may have an engineering internship coming through, so as of now I'm just waiting on that.

Kenny Chesney concert on Saturday night was awesome. Thanks for coming with me yall, even if you aren't his biggest fan :D

it's the thinest phone that will be available in the US

You've got someone here who wants to make it all right
Someone who loves you more than life right here
You've got willing arms that'll hold you tight
a hand to lead you on through the night right here
I know your heart can get all tangled up inside
But don't keep it to yourself...

When your long day is over
And you can barely drag your feet
The weight of the world is on your shoulders
I know what you need
Bring it on home to me

Finally the weekend, and I had to take the ACT...
Let's see... Friday at school...
-math test was easy. english essay sucked. physics was awesome, miss gresham needs to be gone more often. cheerleader try-outs are on thursday, i'm pumped.

after school...
-Katie came over and we went to barnes & nobel and looked at the big book of colleges, ya kinda loser-ish but we had nothing else to do. then we went and got our weekly helping of Guad queso and I saw mrs palmer there haha.
-Then katie, carrie, shu, and i met at morgan bender's for our weekly get together. it was a lot of fun. i'm absolutely obsessed with all of their wedding pictures and their coffee table made me laugh. we hung out for awhile and played highs and lows.
-Then we crashed the MDPC middle school dance in our rad 80s prom dresses. it was a lot of fun the music was good and it def took me back to the days of middle school dances--awkward. And they gave out an ipod nano, damn i wish i could have won that

-Trav came over after his game. they won.
-I realized i left my phone at morgan's so I had to go get the keys from them at church and get them back and they met us there and we talked for awhile longer
-Couldn't sleep at all, it was one of those sleeps wehre you are asleep but you can't stop thinking about stuff.

-Took the ACT, the first 2 sections were easy but I couldn't finish reading and science so I bubbled C for the leftovers. The writing section was easy though.

-Went to lunch at Pappy's after the ACT with Jenn and Ebeth. It was fun to catch up, although we still have a ton left to talk about. And I can't wait till our roadtrip.
-Now I'm home, maybe going to Katie's lax game, we'll see...

The weekend nears...
History test blew.
Physics test wasn't so bad.

Math test tomorrow, it's 10 and I haven't studied yet. But a Rascal Flatts top 10 countdown is on so that makes me happy.

Shu and I went to Value Village to buy dresses for the MDPC middle school dance tomorrow night with the WP girls. The dresses are hilarious and me, shu, and katie all got different ones, they are something else. I feel really guilty when I shop there and am laughing and making jokes and other people are doing serious shopping. It really makes you appreciate what you have...

I'm sorry yall lost your lax game Katie, you'll get them next go round for sure.

In english we went to the book fair and bought the two summer reading books, they are really long, but they don't sound bad so hopefully I will actually read them (I'm trying to be optimistic).

My birthday is exactly two weeks from today...except I'm not that excited. I guess because the 16th birthday was just a 1000x cooler. I did already get Kenny Chesney tickets for April 22 for my birthday though so I'm pysched about that.

Trav came over for awhile. My mom finally has gotten over the "she has to be here when he is here thing." It's about time, a year from now I will be about to leave for college and she will have no control over that kind of stuff. So either that, or she finally trusts me, who knows.

And for whoever watched the OC tonight... I'm so mad at Seth.

Hump day :D
Let's see...

Morning started off rocky because I woke up really late, but I made it on time so it's all good. And someone special actually got to school early to see me, that helped.

1st: office aide- same ole same ole. it gets boring sometimes, but study hall sucked too, so atleast i have some freedom in there

2nd: history- went over the guide. mrs blodgett definitely favors people with participation points (Kim, Brian, Stephen), i feel for ya barb, you got screwed today. test tomorrow...shoot me now. i'm averaging C+ on those tests and i don't even care. It maintains my B.

3rd: spanish- greatest day of spanish in history. it was senora pacheco's birthday and we had brownies, cookies, chips and salsa, and me shu and chels left and went to shipley's and got donuts to eat. and we played music and katie danced, gotta love it. we just talked and such. it was pretty cool not even thinking about school while you are in a classroom.

4th: math- test friday. a lot of material and it's not hard but somehow i'm making it harder than it is.

5th: physics- test tomorrow. it shouldn't be hard, they never are. miss gresham can't teach. today she was working a problem and didn't know how and i did without even being taught it. who gave her a teacher's lisence and why? also, we got assigned a big project. barb is my partner.

6th: english- wow after everyone read their AP paragraph all that was going through my head was shiiitttt, but oh well. i'm not doing as well as i used to in there but i guess i had my english "glory days"

7th: yearbook- still working on my spread, it's comign along. i'm getting more satisfied with it. i really just want to be ads editor. i'll be a senior and i'm organized and know what a pica is. it fits better than any other position for me so whatever, hopefully i'll get that

first day back at work sucked, but my paycheck is stacking up so it will be nice when i decide to ask for it. now i'm procrasitinating studying. wish me luck.

What really grinds my gears...
You know what "grinds my gears" (Family Guy reference)...

How people getting extended time on testing, especially on the SAT. I mean the whole hard part of the SAT using your limited time effectively to answer the problems correctly on the first time.

Now apparently it doesn't even getting written on there that you were given extended. Anyone can get tested positive for ADD, I mean we all struggle paying attention. And why should these people get extra time when they already have Aderol to help them out.

Extended time on testing for students is people taking advantage of the privelidges that some students have that really need it, however, if you can be in honors classes, you can finish the test in the given time. Will your boss give you extended time at work, I don't think so...

This got brought up in Spanish today and became a pretty heated discussion so feel free to vent...

5:09 pm
Just a day, just an ordinary day
Darling we got too much pride
It don't matter who's wrong or right
Honey, love ain't black and white, this way I feel about you
All I wanna do is hold you tight
I can't take another angry night...***

School was boring. No work again today, I need money.

If you are going to be a doctor, I truely respect and admire you.

Not this again...
So I never thought I would make another blog, but I am bored and this is what is going to distract me.

Today was just another Monday after a not very exciting weekend. Saturday I took the SAT, so that is why my weekend was nothing to get excited about. I hope I did good, this was my second time to take it and I really don't want to take that damn thing EVER again. I'm taking the ACT on Sat, but then I'm done with this 4 hours test business.

Oh, but me and Shu pulled some fun April Fool's pranks on Travis and Aryan, atleast we got a kick out of that.

And I tried to swim in my pool for the first time since I moved yesterday, but it was REALLY cold.

School was uneventful. We had to do our chapter 1 presentation in english and I think Dr. Williams might have actually liked it, and that is good news considering we didn't even start planning our presentation until today. I got a 95 on my spanish quiz, that should bring up my B, so that's a relief. That's the last thing I need when I'm trying to get into Texas, a B in an academic class.

I didn't have to work today (or last weds, or last thurs, or tomorrow) and I'm kinda dissappointed. I was getting on a role with my money saving and now I'm $60 of what I could have been. And I have had time to work lately because my homework load has been small, but whatever. Mrs. Werme (boss) bought me and Morgan Crocs today. I never really particularly wanted them, because although comfy, they are u-g-l-y. Oh well, maybe I will whip them out for summer.

Also, I have been working on my editor spread in yearbook. It's pretty tough but I have some good ideas. I'm working on a Spring Break spread. So if you have any good pictures from your Spring Break that'd be awfully helpful (it's not going in the real yearbook).
---Oh, and for yearbook... I had to call about 30 people today that have not bought yearbooks and 2 didn't speak english and that was just not fun. So in other words, buy your yearbook (before may 1st, otherwise it will be $80) and save everyone some trouble.

Otherwise, life is pretty good. I'm bringing up my grades, so that's a good feeling. On the other hand, my parents are getting a officially getting divorced, but I'm kinda used to that idea, sadly enough.
